New Construction Considerations

Since you are thinking about buying a home you should consider new construction as an option for you. A buyer’s agent with new construction experience, established relationships with builders and negotiating ability will help you save thousands of dollars. Did you know;

(a) Builders are very willing to negotiate and are currently offering incentives such as closing costs, upgrades, financing options and more.

(b) When you buy a new home you get ‘the location’ and the home ‘you’ want – no renovation necessary and expenses incurred with this versus foreclosures/short sale homes.

(c) New homes have builders warranty, are built to code and are energy efficient with low maintenance.

(d) New homes are available right now and in some cases can be built within 4-6 months.

Contrary to common beliefs, buyers do not receive a discount on the house if they buy without a Realtor. Most builders prefer an Agent to be involved as they are not in a position to legally represent the buyer. Wouldn’t you want to be represented by a professional Realtor?
